Dr. Johnson completed his doctoral degree at the Michigan School of Professional Psychology. During this time, he received training in a variety of settings such as chronic pain clinics, private practices, and neuropsychological clinics.

 

Dr. Johnson also has a master’s degree in clinical psychology from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology where he completed a practicum at an intensive outpatient partial-hospitalization program. In addition to his work at Nexus Behavioral Health, he is also a core faculty member at the Michigan School of Psychology where he teaches in both the master’s and doctoral program. This includes teaching research foundations, statistics, and psychological assessment courses.

Dr. Johnson has experience working with pediatric and adult populations. His areas of treatment include working with individuals with chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and traumatic brain injury.
