Jean Perry, LMSW

Licensed Masters Social Worker

Jean earned her MSW from Wayne State University in 2005 with a concentration in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has worked with children and their families in school settings for more than 15 years. In her private practice she provides a strengths-based solution focused approach aimed at meeting each person where they are at, while also working to build emotional intelligence and empowering the patient to move toward positive outcomes.

Though her work is largely with children, Jean works with individuals of all ages who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, anger, grief and loss, parenting concerns and relationship difficulties. Her extensive experience in the school setting offers assistance for families navigating the special education process with their children and managing the complex emotions in parenting children with special needs.
